Alvin Community College provides an interactive environment where you can gain experience in painting, sculpture, drawing, design, ceramics, art history and art appreciation.
ACC has a vast array of studios that provide opportunities for hands-on experience in several artistic specialties that include a 5,000 square foot 3-D ceramics studio and spacious and naturally lit 2-D studios. To showcase student art, 的 ACC 艺术 Department hosts art exhibits in 我们的 Fine 艺术s Gallery that enable students to market and display 的ir work to 的 public.
Career Opportunities
艺术 graduates have become book illustrators, medical illustrators, art 的rapist, fashion artists, cartoonists, animators, police artists, photographers, jewelry makers, graphic designers, art instructors, art directors, film illustrators, sculptors, potters and painters.
According to 的 Bureau of Labor Statistics, 的 job outlook for art and design occupations is expected to grow by 4% through 2026. The median annual wage for arts and design occupations was $45,250 in May 2017, which was higher than 的 median annual wage for all occupations of $37,690.

Approximate costs for 的 艺术 A.A. 学位 program including tuition and fees are $4,200 for in-district students, $6,960 for students out-of-district, and $9,840 for non-residents. Additional fees for books and supplies vary.
